In Spring Fling, I was a part of the security team, more specifically, the bag check group. As I mentioned in leadership assignment 5, I learned from the inefficient bag check at winter formal and suggested multiple ideas to make the whole process run smoother. For an example, I changed how we organized the bags inside the classroom as the alphabetical organization system was too cluttered. I also suggested a way to attach the IDs so they were secure and visible, which helped speed up getting the bags back to students. In addition, I worked diligently when completing any work assigned by point people or teachers. I would also assist my team members with anything extra that they needed, such as getting tape and sharpie and helping direct students to their respective areas when entering.  This event was one of the better ones this year, and it ran way smoother than winter formal, which I like to believe was due to the faster security.
